First some bookkeeping … directly below the 20 Day Range MA’s for gold
… and as you can see, the blue New York MA just keeps going lower.

After I posted on Friday I crashed … I wake up from a dream where the dog is
telling me, “hey ya know, it’d be a shame to leave all that deli roast beef in the
“impenetrable bacon box”, what with your impending death and everything … ya
know she isn’t gonna give me any of it after you assume room temperature … you
need to get up, and let’s go have us some roast beef one last time”! … so, I get out
of bed, stumble towards the kitchen with the dog in tow, and the Mrs. is up and
says, “whoa cowboy, where you going to”?
“Some roast beef”!, I say … “what”? … “yea, the dog says he needs some before
I die of man flu … cuz when I’m fish food, you’ll keep it all for yourself and he
won’t get any” … “oh, is that what he says does he”? … “yea, he was tellin’ me,
so I got up”. And like a prisoner who has escaped his cell, I get led back to bed
after the dog gets some roast beef … where’s the dog, I don’t see him … “the
Mrs. & I are bestest of pals, now that she gave me some roast beef PLUS cheese,
PLUS a piece of bacon … we’ll be hangin’ out watchin some movie, you go back
to bed now … good luck … adios … who was that guy anyway”?
And while I’m not 100% yet, I don’t have that “I’m dyin’ over here!”
mentality either, that I had on Friday … with TLC from the fam, I should be
normal by March.
Well, gold and everything else got “monkey hammered” on Friday … and in
case you hadn’t noticed, WTI crude oil did something it has never seen in its
trading history, going back to the 80’s … it’s been down 10 days in a row, a
new all time record. “If I didn’t know better, I’d think the idiots at the FED
were trying to engineer a worldwide depression … yes, by all means, let’s raise
rates some more”! On the horizon in a couple of weeks is the Trump - Xi
meeting at the G20 in Argentina … not saying anything will come of it, but it
has the potential of being an explosive market mover. Anyway, back to bed,
and with a good night sleep, I should be OK tonight and tomorrow.
