“And you still finished in second place!”
Most of this U.S. trading session day a waste, cuz for about 3 hours, from 9:30
AM - 12:30 PM, “Paradise Island Time” [one hour ahead of EST], I had
intermittent internet service caused by an ISP antennae problem [so they tell
me] … it got fixed pretty quick, in terms of island time, but on again off again
isn’t exactly a prescription for a position in gold. Not much here anyway, so it
isn’t much of a big deal at all … it probably cost us a few bucks, looking at the
M1, cuz off the bottom there appears to be a nice buy signal … “meh”.
During the most active part of the day, action looked to be slightly better
today, although that isn’t saying much, and that is most likely due to the BOE,
and the SP500 rolling over and moving lower … that at least started the first
push slightly higher … after that, it looks pretty choppy and non eventful.
Since I got my internet back full throttle around 12:30 PM [11:30 AM EST],
gold has been dead … less than a $2 range, going up and down in spurts
right alongside the SP500 … who’s wagging who, I haven’t a clue, and I’ll
simply note widened spreads with “slippage candy” thrown in from the
Turnkey LP’s, isn’t making trading conditions any “Hoover Dam” better.
Quite frankly, gold should be doing better than this on the upside given the
decline in stocks, so the real question is why isn’t it?
Onto tomorrow, where I’m hopeful trading conditions improve upon today
… we’ll see … I’m outta here … until tomorrow mi amigos
… Onward & Upward!!
