I don’t think it’s possible for intraday volatility to get much higher than it 

was today in the DOW30 … trading action extremely nasty at times, with 

multiple 100+ point breaks and/or rallies multiple times within 30 minutes. 

You’re up, and in a blink of an eye, you’re down and it’s getting worse 

… that pretty much sums up the day, in what will be remembered as “one 

hell of a strange day in more ways than one”.

Pretty much everything bad that can happen during a trading day, happened 

to me today, from a mistaken buy order to getting caught instantly in 

downdrafts … however, in fairness to the scumbag LP’s, on the whole my fills 

were very good … can’t complain about that.

A blizzard of trades today … PAMM down very slightly … in total, down 

collectively about $42.

And while I could have made additional trades, here in the late New York 

session, I didn’t cuz I got no room to maneuver if things turn sour, with the 

clock ticking down … I don’t want to make a meaningless loss in the scheme 

of things, turned into a late afternoon bloodbath; “I simply swallow my desire 

[read pride] to get positive for the day and realize the dollar amount means 

nothing, and tomorrow’s another day, where again trading action will be hectic 

to say the least ... so, I’m not gonna do “stupid shit” that exposes me to further 

loss for the day, when there’s no reason to chase this stuff higher”. Truth be 

revealed, losing $42 today is a total victory.

I haven’t had time to do the PAMM spreadsheet for the day … after I check 

the bottom of my pants, shower, and then eat dinner, I’ll update the 

spreadsheet and post it here as an update … sometime in the early evening 

New York time, before the Asian open.
