MARKETS INFECTED WITH “CRISIS FATIGUE”

“Houston, we may have a problem!”

Pick any financial market, and lately it’s like going airborne when the wheels
fall off … stocks, interest rates, FX … literally everything. Eventually, markets
catch on to this, and you wake up one morning, turn the machines on, and there
is … crickets … and what you discover is pure “bull market”  fatigue. And that’s
what we got today in EURUSD; the market simply cannot sustain the level of
“frenzy” it’s been in since the great “Christmas Day Heist”. We’re starting the
8th straight week of gains on the weekly candlestick … to say it’s been a few
“full moons” since the last time this happened is an understatement; in fact,
you have to go back to September 2004, when EURUSD put in a 1000 PIP up
move in 11 straight weeks.

That doesn’t mean the downside is a “piece of cake” … far from it, as there
are enough up spikes to shake shorts out on the slightest provocation. What
it means, is the long side is tired. I fully realize, that “big money” longs will
protect positions, and they’ll do what’s necessary for as long as possible, to
keep the scumbag LP banks from clicking off sell stops on the downside, but
you should notice today, that there is no “fire” in the marketplace for either
getting long, adding to longs, or going for buy stops, and the resultant
manifestation of this is no really decent spikes up the entire day. Simply put,
the market is tired.

Turning to today’s market … the first 6 hours of European trading was
“zzzzzz” … a 20+ PIP something clusterfark that did nothing but yo-yo back
& forth … that all changed about half an hour from the NYSE open in New
York, as EURUSD moves quickly to challenge 1.24 on the downside … light
stops all the way down, and as I said before above, the century mark gets
defended as well. One trade today, PAMM up just shy of 0.1% … really, not
much to do from either side of the market; simply a “chopfest”, with very
tight ranges from what we’ve seen in the last weeks.

I’m not really looking for any major downside action in EURUSD this week,
unless the 10 YR. benchmark German Bund rallies and yields get lowered
… first day in 10 today, that yield is backing off the torrid pace of interest rate
increases we’ve seen the last 2 weeks. And that’s leading to the softer tone in
EURUSD. Just for the record, it’s tough to find offshore brokerage houses that
offer interest rate CFD’s, cuz they get pressured from the U.S. Treasury Dept.
[especially when ex-President Empty Suit’s regime was in power]. However,
HOT Forex does offer the US 10 YR., the 10 YR. German bund, and the 10 YR.
UK Gilt. While HOT Forex does not accept U.S. citizens and/or residents, you
can open a demo account and follow the rates … it’s better than Bloomberg
and/or CNBC, and it lets you follow the all important 10 YR rates in real time.

Hopefully, tomorrow sees some more pressure that takes EURUSD below 1.24.
It needs to spend some time lower, and my fear is, that if they blow it yet again
out the topside, and close higher for the week, all it’s doing is setting up an ugly
ending when it comes. We’ll see … so far, the sell stops on the downside have
been very tame and orderly … I’d like to see that change to wash the market
out of some long positions … to go higher, it really needs to see something along
those lines.

Nevertheless, the “name of the game” is making money … you can play
“analyst” all day long. It simply doesn’t matter what you make; what matters
is not losing and moving forward … and to that end, all that matters is the
“setup” … cuz if you got the “setup” correctly, the probabilities are so heavily
skewed in your favor it’s ridiculous … I’m outta here … until tomorrow mi
amigos … Onward & Upward!!

SCUMBAG LP’S TURN MACHINES OFF AFTER NFP

“Know your enemy before you jump into the pool!”

Like any trader today needs another “headwind” making money from
trading; today’s NFP report provides ample evidence, as if we need more,
of why it’s “plain damn stupid” to go into an important report “assuming”
your MT4 trading platform will be “just fine” … well guess what? … what
if the scumbag LP’s turn the machines off for a few minutes so you can’t do
anything? … Long or short whaddaya do then, cuz you know it won’t turn
out pretty? So, what happened?

I don’t know about anybody else, but my MT4 wasn’t functioning properly,
from the second the NFP report came out, to 12 minutes later @ 9:42 A.M.
EST, when “magically”, the “technical data glitch” was “solved”; please  find
me just a tad suspicious. “Nothing to see here Sheeple, move along”. All I can
do is shake my head at shit like this … and if you think this was just a
coincidence, instead of what I know to be true, then I got some really good
swamp land in Haiti to sell you cheap! These scumbag LP banks are shameless,
but all you can do is prepare yourself for their nefarious shenanigans cuz we
have to use ‘em … we don’t have a choice.

Another NFP Friday, and another large reversal in EURUSD after Europe
closes … to say people got “hurt” today is an understatement, and is one of
the reasons I hate with a passion NFP Fridays … they’re almost impossible
to trade effectively, and the gaps in pricing is hard to figure out and trade.
Over the course of the multiple hundreds of NFP Fridays I’ve lived through
in my career, add it all up and I doubt I’m up $100 cumulatively over that
time. I literally hate this day cuz it skews totally, the entire FX trading day
going into a weekend, where normally it’s a clusterfark cuz of position
squaring anyway … “Hey, I got an idea; let’s make it worse”!

Turning to today’s actual trading … made two long trades today, and while
the liquidations were right on the money on the “bid”, my entry fills for
EURUSD weren’t very good … in fact, they stunk. Not only did the scumbag
LP’s turn the machines off today at “crunch time”, even a good time after the
report, the EURUSD spread was widened to as far as 0.8 PIPS, when normally
it’s 0.1 - 0.2 PIPS. Why? Cuz they can, that’s why, and is one more thing you
got to be aware off when you trade. Point is, I probably got taken for about
½ PIP on each entry. Not enough to really complain about, but enough to piss
me off and make my positions more expensive relative to risk.

Both trades I scalped, cuz I didn’t see any reason to hang on as it plunged ….
at the time, both made me look like a genius … once Europe closes, I look like
a dope on the 80 PIP rip higher on vapors. And once they rip the living guts
out of long positions, now come the shorts turn, where a move back almost to
1.25000 sees people tripping all over themselves covering short positions with
losses before the weekend.

So, it shouldn’t come as any kind of surprise, that I’m not exactly “enthusiastic”
about getting involved in the up move in the New York afternoon on a Friday,
cuz it ain’t gonna happen. The two trades were profitable, but only minimally
… truth be revealed, being up a nickel today is a total victory. So, we’ll see how
this animal shakes out this afternoon, and attack it again on Monday … if it
doesn’t back off in Asia, I think Europe will try and take out the previous high
around 1.25380 … we’ll see what happens.

The important thing to take away from today’s NFP clusterfark, is that “risk”
guides you. Why didn’t I get long near the low? Cuz within a couple PIPS, the
market stayed down there for 11 minutes, not exactly giving any kind of hint of
what was to come after Europe closed. My second trade was down in that area,
but once long, and I’m looking at a market where the bid/offer is jumping 2 - 3
PIPS between quotes and trades, and I’m not happy being down 5 PIPS one
second and UP anything a millisecond later … when I saw it was profitable, all I
wanted was out. So, being up only a few bucks on any other day is not what I’m
looking for, on any NFP Friday, I feel like I won the lottery. On to Monday
… I’m outta here … until then mi amigos! Onward & Upward!!

THE VANISHING MARKET

“Clueless POLS have a new toy … financial markets for policy purposes”.

The problem in the financial world today, isn’t “Plunge Protection Team”
[PPT] protected U.S. equity markets … the very real and growing problem is
world debt. There simply is no way to “herd the cats” together and make it all
go away; to whit, exploding U.S. debt with more coming via “infrastructure”
spending, massive China & Italian bank problems, along with Spain’s problems
… and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. With yields leaping higher everywhere,
the world’s PPT’s are going to have their work cut out for themselves propping
up world index markets … so where does the capital go?

And as we are seeing now, just because yields are rising in U.S. Treasuries,
the U.S.  Dollar is not doing well … rising debt, uncertain political problems
[immigration & debt ceiling at the forefront], extremely overvalued markets,
and a clueless FED that will eventually induce a nasty recession by raising
rates to stem the Dollar from collapsing … and most big money managers see
it clear as day.

The problem for EURUSD right now, is one of extension … too far, too fast
… too be sure, the benchmark 10YR. German Bund, is rising just as fast as
the 10YR. U.S. Treasury Note; on a percentage basis, it’s faster, and this is
lending big support for EURUSD. Quite frankly, though, the market has not
spent any time at all on the downside from 600+ PIPS ago, except for very
brief scumbag LP bank stop runs … from there, it’s consolidate for 1 hour
and then it’s off to the races again. Remember the scumbag LP Banks
“Christmas Day Heist”, 6 week ago? That bit of genuine thievery saw
EURUSD plunge to the 1.15500 level before quickly recovering … from the
most recent high, that’s almost 1,000 PIPS!

Markets either go down or sideways to work off overbought, or too bullish,
indicators … with the runup we’ve seen, EURUSD needs to back off,
otherwise we’re looking at a pure “train wreck” from wherever it tops out;
and that will be “messy” to say the least.

Turning to today’s trading … I’m not at all thrilled to be buying EURUSD
above the 1.24000 level … as I said above, this market needs to go down, and
not just on bullshit, scumbag LP bank stop hunts in the wee hours … it
starts with Asia getting long and buying, and then Europe coming in and
“dropping the hammer” down … all the long positions this last week above
1.24000, then get unmercifully slaughtered, and we end up with a bottom a
week to 10 days out that’s well worth being long from and holding. So far, we
haven’t seen anything remotely approaching panic selling from longs … it
doesn’t have to be extremely deep, just fast & vicious [which, it always is].

Next week starts the 5th week of the New Year, and we’ve yet to see, except for
one day where Asia puked and Europe blasted off right from the open, any kind
of systematic stop hunting by the scumbag LP’s on the downside … my fear is,
we’re a lot closer to it than most bulls in EURUSD want to admit, and so buying
above 1.24000, and especially 1.24400 - 1.24500 is not something I really want to
do … I’ve played this rodeo longer than some have been alive, and I know how it
ends, and how the market always will trap longs and make it look like it’s never
gonna ever have another down tick … and then the roof falls in and it heads
lower … systematic and slow at first, then picking up steam, forcing the clueless
who double or triple up losing long positions to puke mightily … so far, we
haven’t seen any of this, but I know it’s coming. It doesn’t look like it’s gonna be
today, what with NFP tomorrow [oh joy], and most not wanting to do anything
major today before the report.

One trade today, PAMM up between 0.1% - 0.2%. If there ever was a day
EURUSD should be up sharply, this day is it, but checking the tape at the NYSE
open, it’s up about 26 PIPS @ 1.24430 … big whoop, after getting rejected twice
at the 1.24500 & 1.24600 levels earlier. And while it’s only 20 or so PIPS off the
high, the speed of the down M1’s worries me up here, cuz if you get caught in
one when long it will sting.

I’m outta here early today, cuz it’s that time of year for my annual physical early
this afternoon, and the Mrs. is dragging me out the door to make sure I show up
and don’t use trading as an excuse not to go ; same old crusty Doc I saw a couple
weeks ago when I had “man flu”. I’m sure he will be thrilled to see me.
Tomorrow sees another NFP Friday [oh joy]; however, unless the number is way
off consensus, I don’t see it as a driving force in EURUSD tomorrow, so I hold
out some hope it can be a relatively normal trading day. I’m still looking for the
good breaks in EURUSD, inside this bull market, to bring out the heavy artillery
with volume size … so far we haven’t seen it, but I can assure you it’s on its way.
Back at it tonight in Asia, and then we’ll see what the NFP brings tomorrow
… Onward & Upward!!
