It should be obvious by now, that the last few days are a manipulative hoax by
the POLS & Apparatchiks running equity index markets … “Stock Bellies”
reacting today to the BOC not raising rates as high as analysts first thought
… next up on Wednesday, the FED Lounge Lizards turn to turn dovish and
most likely give some kind of hint at pausing rate hikes, or not raising rates by
75 bps … if they don’t there’s gonna be Hell to pay come Wednesday at
2 PM EST.
And so the entire investment universe is going FOMO now, convinced the FED
will pause or Pivot as soon as this upcoming next Wednesday … buy the rumor
sell the fact? … maybe … but until inflation comes down rather substantially,
how do rates come down to substantiate it? … no way, not anytime soon does
inflation come down to around their 2% target … a lot of future disappointment
is getting baked into the cake.
Came into today either looking for the DOW30 to correct lower early [BTFD], or
USDJPY for rally opportunities … that got changed with the BOC, and Yen is
rallying not breaking … profitable longs are few and far between … the key with
the DOW30 is “early”, cuz breaks after 2 PM can’t be bought unless you love pain
cuz they tend to trap longs into the close cuz there’s no time left … USDJPY
longs might be tough sledding ‘til the Lounge Lizards make known their interest
rate plans, though. cuz IMHO moves to the 150 level more than likely get sold
until we know more … what’s interesting about the last couple of days is
USDJPY selling WITHOUT verbal intervention at night or actual YEN spent
… USDJY seems to be rallying with the rest of the FX space anticipating a FED
PIVOT … haven’’t seen this in a good long while … only one decent algorithm
buy signal in USDJPY today, TURNKEY PAMM UP FRACTIONALLY … not a good
exit on my part, we should have gotten more … still looking to buy breaks in
“Stock Bellies” early, but this week we haven’t seen that at all … onto tomorrow.
