WHERE WE GO FROM HERE

“Two Finance Professors analyze their trading models!”

I’ve been working on the stock indices volatility algorithms this last week, and what I have decided to do is put the following markets into the same manual; DOW30, SP500, NDX100, & RUSSELL2000. In addition to that, also in the manual [components & implementation] will be the high flying stocks Google & Amazon.
This move makes sense because they all share the exact same components; and although the “rules & signals” are slightly different in each market, I will simply differentiate the differences in the “Implementation” part of the manual with each market having their own chapter. This makes everything simpler for everybody, allowing everyone to simply scan the implementation manual and search for the chapter of the market they wish to trade. It also makes it easier because you can easily see the differences between stock indices and/or shares CFD’s.
And although many of you are simply trading CFD’s through the MT4 with either ASSETS FX and/or LMFX, I have a very large clientele that trade options and needs all of these indices with the volatility algorithms running on each for their strategies.
Turning to gold today … crickets … I’m outta here. No real movement in Asia for the dealers and bullion banks to fade, and now that we’re into mid-day, the moves in New York are around $4, which is pathetic. My gut feeling is that we aren’t going to see a nice up day in gold that can be sustained for more than 10 minutes, that really traps the shorts, until the U.S. stock indices correct and take out the sell stops underneath that market; especially the SP500; that could produce a nice $10+ rally in the New York session.
No trades today, nothing to really do in this environment. Dog and I are outta here. Until tomorrow …
Have a great day everybody!
